Well i got my paycheck the other day and the time has come to finish my system off. The setup im looking for is 2 10" subs and like an 800w amp. Anyone have any suggestions? I dont have too much $ and i dont wanna go buy something and turn around later and see a better deal. many suggestions will be appreciated.

if your looking to push about 250-300rms
Look into some 10" sony xplods.
many people told me to stay far away from them
but i have them. and they sound great.
just dont push to much power to them
they may sound like a 250$ sub. but they cant handle
the same power as a 250$ sub.

OR. look into some used JL audio w3's

btw. you can get 2 sonys off ebay for bout 100 bucks.
and a box will run anywhere from 40$-200$

Stick em in a ported box and they'll be good for any kind of music.

a good underrated subwoofer is the infinity reference line, and they can be picked up pretty cheap sometimes...

you could look around and find you some Fosgate HE2 subs (from the '99-'00 line), and a Punch or Power 500a2, throw them subs ina 1.5 per chamber sealed box, and it sounds clean, tight, warm, and loud.

audiobahn are the best boom for your buck IMO. All their components including their amps are pretty damn good.

i've owned a few sets of Sony Xplodes and although they are decent, you can do better for the money.

I just got a JLw6 10" and it's crazy how much boom that puts out. My friend has 2 12" Kicker Comps and thought it's not as loud, it's pretty close. It sounds better and gets those low frequencies nicely.

I agree Audiobahns are the top quality. I had 2 Pyle Dryvers that got stolen and I replaced them Adiobahns nad they sound 100 times better.

seeing as though the accord doesnt really have much trunk space and most people like to keep some luggage room, I would suggest going with 2 JL WO 4ohm 10's. The subs are made to run in just about any space you have whether it be .8' cu or 1.5' cu and pound the shit out of your trunk even on low wattage (150w - 250w). For best sound, that will kick your uncles ass, use a Mono block single channel amp, and wire the 2 10's down to 1 ohm (1.5ohm if your using 2 4ohm WO 10's). You can usually get a double 10 box with 2 JL's at a car audio specialist for anywhere between $180 - 250. you can pick up a monoblock amp at any circuit city or best buy for like $150. pick up a wiring kit and you have a sweet system for under $500. unless you feel the need to dynomat your trunk because its getting beat all to hell.
