Does everything from the 87-89 accord work for the 86 accord? Aside from the carb/efi difference.

Ok, what about body parts?? Such as corner lenses, tail lights?? Heres my prob, lookin to find stuff on ebay, but most list things for 88-89, so just hoping these things will fit my car.

Most body parts should work. The trunk from either will work but if you swap a trunk from an 86 87 to an 88 89 you will have to use 86 87 tail lights. Reverse is the same. Also you can't mix and match tail lights because they look different from 86 87 to 88 89, and the center pieces are different in size. The license plate holder on the 86 87 can't be swapped over to 88 89 either unless you have 86 87 trunklid and lights. The Eyebrows, grille, corner lenses all fit from year to year, but the designs are different. Body panels all fit from year to year.

There are several small things that are not interchangable. The electrial system under the hood is not the same between carb and efi (wiring, alternator, distributor, sensors, etc...
The 88-89 LXI and 89 SEi had larger front brakes, and the SEi had rear discs. You can upgrade to the better brakes no problem though.
All the sheet metal, exterior trim and interor pieces are swappable.

ummm the bumper's may be a bit wider.
the 88-89 was about 2 inches longer and wider.
and the rear's if you wanna change em, you have to get a 88-89 trunk lid.
the front the grille is a bit lower than the 88-89.
the side maker's are gonna be a bit thinner. but will still work.

they changed the carb quite a few time's don't know why.

Well.... How about drop coils and struts?? Is it all interchangable? Mostly was asking because i seen something on ebay I wanted, but its says its available for the 88-89 accord. It was the front marker lights, I just couldnt see how they wouldnt work for my car, an 86.
