Would that make it a possibility that mugen have parts available for it? (as in we would be able to purchase a valve cover like that and other parts for it)

dane, the answer would be yes, but they are probably well out of production... maybe you can pick up a NOS one sitting in a warehouse somewhere... that's your best possibilty... though, we may be able to get a small group buy together and have them do a small production run of whatever part... hey, it's an idea, and since it's been made before, they probably have everything sitting in a warehouse (molds and dies) along with the specs of the part(s)... who knows?

i don't think they would keep all the molds and stuff like that.
i know a lot of companies don't keep molds. if the part is out of production, they destroy the mold.

Hmm, actually it wouldnt even matter if they do have any engine parts for it. It would be to expencive anyway.. But still it's a nice thought that Mugen was into the b20a.

I wonder what kind of engine management was used...

go to a jdm mugen page. I thought I read that the b18 valve cover fits the b20a with a camshaft clearence issue. my brother has that cover on his b18

I have a B18 valve cover and the only problem i see is you need to cut off the end where the cam gears are because our gears are much bigger. I got that valve cover because i preffered the way it looked over the big plastic shield that we have but i over looked the larger cam gears as being an issue. But if you run the B16 cam gears you should be fine.

by running a smaller gear isnt that going to overspin the cams. it seems youd have a problem with the belt being too long also. thanks for clearing up that the bolts are in the proper spot. ive been looking at thay cover since i got the b20a and know i know ill get it. i dont mind hacking the end off it. itll make accessing the adjustable cam gears that much easier.

smaller camgears will not overspin the cams... unless you forget to match the crank sprocket.. :D
