first of all let me just say this pics were taken with my camera phone so may not be the best of pics but they'll work. this is after we pulled the entire engine did a clutch swap for a new excedy clutch, new timing belt, pacesetter header (didn't know any better at the time), and new exhaust(dynamax superturbo with the cat removed and a corvette style tip). i have also painted the valve cover and installed a short ram air intake (until i can afford to get a custom CAI done!). i'd love to know what everyone thinks and any tips or suggestions on what else would look good.

your new valve cover makes a huge difference. nice touch. maybe see if you can get some blue spark plug wires to match.

Very nice. The Corvette Tip exhaust doesnt appeal to me though. Everything else is ok.

seems like a lot of extra work pulling the whole motor just to replace the clutch and put on a header.

how does the new exhaust sound?

haha, yea your right the chilton didn't really tell how to do it otherwise, that is until we got the whole motor out and bought a haynes and found out that we didn't have to pull the motor! oh well, gave me a good excuse to clean it up a bit though! but yea the exhaust sounds pretty good! its REALLY deep and pretty loud, sometimes a little too loud. but i like it a lot it defiintly doesn't sound riced at all. in fact i was hanging out with a buddy the other night and his friend had a firebird there and wanted to hear my car. not only was mine nice loud but he was actually surprised and wanted to know exactly how to get his like mine! i'm going to the track this weekend, so i'm interested in how good/bad i do because i've never gotten to run it yet.

Hmm drop the tranny and put a header by removing the radiator support. That's the way I did my stuff.
