I remember reading something about some coils are interchangable... And I think it was 4th gen coils fit in 3rd gen. I did the search, and couldnt find anything.

Anyways, I got a set of coils lined up, are they gonna fit?

No, they do not fit. They are too tall. No one has found dampers from another car that has aftermarket support that we can use. I've heard 2nd generation integra parts may work, but no one has verified it.

Ive replaced my struts with the cheapest ones I could buy, but they were new ones. Is that ok?

It's ok if you plan to use stock springs. Otherwise no--you can expect a bouncy, underdamped ride if you pair those cheap dampers with any coilover. Your cheap replacements will probably not last very long either. It takes a stronger shock to control a stiffer spring.

By puttin 4th gen coils in, i heard it wont give me the same ride quality as by puttin 3rd gen coils in?? Is this worth doing, or should I get the 3rd gen coils?

I'm waiting on my 4th gen coils still. However, when I get them, I'll have the 4Gs in the back, and the 3Gs in the front. That should help ride quality a little. As of now, the 3rd gen coils won't allow the rear to go any higher than a 1" wheel tuck (NOT good).

Supposedly the 4th gen coilovers give a much stiffer ride. Good aftermarket shocks will probably help that a bit. I'm still on stock (aside from the Tokico that's going in to replace the blown front passenger side...) The ride quality is pretty terrible right now :D I'll let you know when I get the 4th gen coilovers on the back!
