i want to know if some 19s with a 215/35 tire would fit and i saw some 20s that are 20x7.5 45offset would they fit? thanks

If they are 45 mm offset there is a chance that they will fit. The diameter of your tire will be over an inch larger than stock so even if they fit, they will raise your car somewhat and may be so large that you won't be able to lower it much, if at all. The largest wheel diameter that I know will fit is 18".

Since this thread is about size of rims. I have a question too. I plan on lowering my car 2.5" in the front w/ 2.25" in the back. What would be the best size rim and tire without no rubbing of the fender wells? What I mean is, I would like to get some bigger rims than 13" steelies. Like 15" or so, but I don't know what would fit with the car that low.

Since the stock size tires work for that drop you should be ok with an appropriate plus size: 205/45-16, 205/40-16 (a little short), 205/50-15, or 195/55-15 since the size of the tread is still about the same size as stock. I hope you're not planning to drop that low with stock shocks.

Well, I got different answers about what kind of shocks and struts to use. K-Roy said " You should go with Tokicos for shocks. Koni's are rare and pricy, and the Bilsteins are mega expensive. You can get a set of Tokico Blues off eBay for $220 shipped."
So I think I'll save up for Tokico Blues rather than seeing what would happen with the 16 year old stock ones. I don't know if they can handle car being that low though? I heard you need them shorter, but not sure.

There are two problems you're likely to run into with the Tokicos:
1 They are not strong enough to control springs more than 10-15% stiffer than stock. This means that the stiffer your springs are, the bouncier your car's ride will be.
2 If the drop is too low they will be bottomed out enough times that they will be destroyed. I'm not sure what the minimum height for the Tokicos is, but anything more than 2.25" lower than stock and Konis are supposed to be shortened.

I'd recommend a softer lowering spring with less of a drop if you're not willing to spend the money to get dampers that can control the stiffer springs that would be necessary for the drop that you're considering. You're likely to have a little bounce in the front, but at least a few hard bumps aren't likely to kill your shocks.

even if you fit 20" rims, you won't have any rubber on them. the car will ride like crap.
