Anyone know if the b20 axles are the same length as the prelude s.i?

My o/s cv has gone and being in the u.k. these cars are so hard to find!

Aren't B20's also founded in Prelude Si's?

There is a how-to by Carotman, I think, that covers axles for the B20A. Particularly interchangeability of Accord and Prelude axles.

ya my cv joints are so bad the click click click sound is so loud. The guy at the junkyadr says $75 for each new one. so ill be spending 150 and thats practically my paycheck.but i guess i should do it i dont wanna have my axles lying on the side of the road one day.

There is one on removing the axles......the hard way!!

My easier way would be
#1. Remove the axle nut
#2. undo the pinch bolt on the damper
#3. unclip the metal band on the inner axle boot
#4. push the hub down from the damper (with your foot)
#5. remove the axle

Whats all the fuss about? those lower wishbone bolts are commonly seized solid too.. :sad2:
