Anybody use Valvoline Maxlife motor oil in their 3G Accord? The autoparts store employee raved about using it in his 3G and using less oil so I bought it for mine. Nice fella gave me 10% discount as well. Sweet....

I use it. Other than the car marking it's territory via the oil pan, the car uses no oil, and hasn't sprung any new leaks. Motor has about 220K on it. Just don't switch to synthetic in an old motor. It will find allllllllll your oil leaks!

i don't use anything but Mobil in my motor and tranny.

I've seen way too many threads on oil leaks after switching from regular dino oil to synthetic oil on some other boards. If I rebuilt the engine with new gaskets I would definately be into it. I'm going to give the combo of Purolator Pure One oil filter and Valvoline Maxlife 10W30 a couple oil changes to form an opinion.
