First let me say that i am new to this site and it has been very informative to me.

does anyone have shaved handles? How would i go about doing it and how much would it cost. I know that there is one way that includes welding. Any other ways. I am thinking of shaving the handles off my 88 lxi hatch. Suggestions...comments...help

welcome to the site. i have shaved handles on my 88 lxi 4 door. i like them and they look nice. as long as you make sure they are done correctly and smooth then they look good. as of doing it, im not sure how. my cousin did it for me a while back when he primered it and got it ready for paint. so im not sure how hard or how long it takes. but i would recomend them because i think they look good and are not seen very much on older cars or accords. mostly on trucks. well welcome to the site again

if you dont know how to do it then i would suggest looking around to body shops in your area. They'll know how to do it right.

before you shave it, you may want to invest into keyless- pop out door kit.
