Maybe they have... or maybe they expect us mods to do it for them... and guess what, we do... we search for them and post the links. :D Life is great.

What's so hard about taking the alternator out? Jack up the car and make sure you have jackstands for support too and work your way to the alternator from underneath the car.

I'm going to remove an alt from a wrecked 3G if it's still there... problem is it's in the middle of a wal-mart parking lot, I have no idea how it got there ( Flat tires blown out windows and torn up dash )... but I was figuring I'd take the alt cause I need one... and maybe I'll take some other tid bits if it's carbed... if I work on it at 2:00am I should be after the cops leave and still dark enough to hide my work. :D

mike, you guys should delete threads like this after the thread starter is pointed in the right direction. If i was a mod, ill give it two days before its gone. There is absolutely no need for a 475th thread about how to pull a god damn alt out. :repost: :uh: :sad2:

Thank you for all your posts guys i was really pissed off at my alternator then i read a couple of posts and tried the firewall route and Bingo!

:kekeke: kinda made me wonder wtf it was cause i guess he just went thru all the alternator threads and posted the same exact stuff. I guess copy and paste works. ;) besides, one of em was from mid of last year :dunno:
