distributor o ring

i went to 3 stores, none of them stock it, and majestic honda wants $5 for handling. anyone know where i can get one cheaper, or anyone have one they can mail me?

also is the cylinder head cover gasket the same thing as the valve cover? thanksss

If it is just an o-ring you and you can remove it and get a ride you can find neoprene o-rings at Home Depot, True Value, Ace, or at your local automotive store. If you can find the right size that way it should work and cost you about 25 cents.

u and i are looking for the same things at the same time
the distributor o-ring is a dealer item
and finding a valve cover gasket that comes with grommet is just plain crazy
i guess majestic honda is the way

oldschool, are you suggesting we order it online, or make sure the problem is the o ring. pos carb mentioned that my oil leaking all under the distibutor may be o ring.and i checked and am pretty confident thats where my problem is.

You can get a good quality valve cover gasket that actually comes with the grommets from NAPA for about $10. It's one of the few aftermarket pieces I use.

Yeah.. #7 O-RING (26.4X3.1) (TEC) $0.97 not worth it. Cope with the leak till u have to order a bigger item or get it locally as the guys here suggested.

i need to stop the oil leaking because i want to build an intake, and thats not really gonna work if its sucking in oil too. i ordered it and a valve cover gasket to cut the shipping.
