i think they look good, except the yellow clashes with your blue car. the ones on my car are about the same size and i like them

D, being that you're from Frisco and you should know how the fog there is like, if you're serious about having them for driving in the fog, forget what people have to say, man. But if you want them just for "looks" then definitely get smaller ones.

Nahhh, it kills the entire image I have of your car. Get clear ones. I just picture your car blue and clean; the yellow just makes my eye stop.

Maybe foglights from a Sedan EK civic would be nice

(like those)

The ones for the hatch have a more square look and would fit better maybe

The 4th gen lude/5th gen accord fogs would be nice too

ill be getting a set of slimlines soon and puttin it in the lower grille. they are about 5-6 in long by 2-3in high, dont know the actual measurements but you get the idea. anyways, i found a set in my area at auto zone for abouut $30-40.

i had piaa ion yellow fogs on my car before my new clears... i think they looked like shit, i've had nothing but compliments on my driving lights. there is rarely any fog where i live so i have no need for yellow lights in a fog pattern.

i'd stick with a rectangular style it fits in more with the angular body styling.

 Have you thought about putting them in the factory spot? You know, where those plastic pieces on the bumper pop out below the turn signals? I think that some slim rectangular clear ones would look good there.

While we're on foglights, I've got an idea on what to do for a switch. Get an extra cruise control switch from the junkyard (the one that mounts in the dash) and mount it in the space next to your existing cruise control switch (the factory foglight switch location). The plastic blank pops out and the the cruise switch will pop right in. Two of the wires coming off the switch have continuity when you press the button (not sure which ones, you can check with a multitester) so you can wire these to a relay to switch the foglights on and off.
Or... if you want you could get the actual foglight switch from the dealership and be super cool :)

the fog light hole is definitely a no. I have a CAI and its sitting in the passenger hole..so why would i put an obstacle there? As far as a switch..i already have a switch next to the cruise control switch so its all good already.

definitely..looks too big.but it was free..so i had to consider the option. I do certainly want a rectangle in that same shape but..smaller ratio wise. Any idea of some yellow fogs smaller but same shape like that? Slimlines IMO look like shit on my car so that is out of the question.

I definitely will get yellow ones because of the function. I could care less if it makes my car look worse. I had clear foglights before and I found them utterly useless in the fog. It made it worse, so I rather go with yellow and see than go clear and blind myself.

I like them, yellow fogs are hot. Look at the IS300, HID's with yellow fogs, stick with them and I love how they look flush with the very outsides of the center grille. I say do it.

yeah! that would look pretty good. i think the yellow would look good personally, but clear is good too. the rectangular shape actually goes with the car unlike round ones. in the bumper grille it looks good, but the places under the bumper signal lights is a good place too. definately looks like it should go with the car. the ones that look that size from hella are good, i think they might be a bit smaller. ok, well the rectangular look is the way to go.

the fog light hole is definitely a no. I have a CAI and its sitting in the passenger hole..so why would i put an obstacle there? You have an obstacle there right now no? I see the plastic covers are still on your bumper. Or do you usually keep those off?

yea man u have the H4-bulbed lights and the clear signals...the yellow would kinda throw it all off

well..the obstacle has a slit for air... but if i was to put a foglight..it would block the whole hole..

Slavic
09-05-2004, 06:54 AM
I see. Can you mount them a bit deeper alowing an opening equivalent to the slit? Just throwing ideas your way. I'm not even sure it'd look better that way.

i personally dont like the original fog light hole but I already taken it into possibility. The foglight itself is pratically the same size as the hole if not bigger. As for now, Im looking for a smaller size rectangular fog light. wish me luck!

Busted_Blue

Well most likely I'm going to go with these fog lights...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/crazyxzer0/53327102.jpg

Yea I got another set from my uncle..and looks like its from kragen most likely.. Im too lazy to modify the yellow ones to my grill..and looks like the grill will have severe holes if the foglights are removed.

here are some test fitting pics..to get an idea... comments?
