You can turbo it, be prepared to spend some cash though...

if you are having it done profeccionally you are looking at like ten thousand if you are lucky. Its an all custom job and its a pantload of labor. Open ended custom fabrication labor. be sure to ask for vasaline with the price.

I dont care about the money issues, H22a is the way to go. Most bang for the buck. I saw one tonight go against a DSM and the Prelude ripped off the line. I WANT THAT MOTOR!!!.....maybe i'll get one and put it in my Wagon some how.:D

come now, that wagon needs a 2t/3tgte hybrid, it'll eat ludes for lunch with that under the hood. I'm not up on my oldschool corollas, but thats a k series isnt it.

2TC POWER BABY! all 75 hp of it. If the 3tg wasnt so hard to get around here id probably do it but Im think more along the lines of a 2t/3t 2 liter with twin side drafts, cam , MSD , etc. I have to get the body and suspension worked out first before I do anything to the engine.

Im kind of unique around here with a 19 year kid and 78 wagon amagine how much more unique id be with a Prelude heart beating under the hood. :D

PhydeauX - I just thought about your question some more. Are you asking the engine code or chasis? Well to answer both its 1.6l 2TC and the chasis is a TE38. I belive K cars are 70-74 and T's are 75-79.

Motor coe chassis code, it doesnt matter, I was just wondering if it had a t or a k under the hood. I couldn't remember when the made the switch. You'r right t series motors are getting rare, but you shouldn't have too much trouble finding them. If you want to dig up a lot of info go to www.toyota-mods.org, join the mailing list and ask away.

I think they still had K engine cars even after the T came out. I Yeah before I found this long lost board I use to be at Club4ag.com all the time. Theres alot of helpful people over there.

Yeah, club4ag is a good site, I was able to source a trans for my gze on that board. You'll find alot more T series specific info on the toyota-mods list though, esp in the suspension and drive train area, though a good poriton of the members visit the club4ag forums too.

MAG PBG ,...did i hear you say mechanics told you they could put a turbo on 88' and 89' cars? is this right? b/c i've read alot on this site and everyone says that its impossible without spending buttloads of money replacing everything.
