found this when looking thru a performance mod catalog, i know the exedy clutches are supposed to be 10-15% stronger than stock, these are supposed to be 30%, not sure on the prices though.

i know Sean was talking to them to get a high strength clutch i think he got the dual plate design to hold upto 400 ftlbs or something. im not sure, but yeah i have heard of them.

ACT clutches are 40% stiffer so why dont u look into that? http://www.advancedclutch.com/

here is the list of their clutches on their site

HA2-HDOO - 200 ftlbs (street clutch)
HA2-HDR4 - 256 ftlbs (4 puck)
HA2-HDR6 - 256 ftlbs (6 puck)
HA2-HDSS - 200 ftlbs (perf street clutch)

i know the diff between the 4 and the 6 puck, but, but what would be the difference between the 2 street clutches since they both have the same strength. Will one just last longer or maybe has some other factor that increases grip?

They both come with the heavy duty pressure plate, but the HDSS comes with a better disc. I f#cking love my ACT clutch, btw.

i got the HA2-HDSS, although i haven't driven with it yet. i got it for like $260 or something. can't remember for sure, but i did a google search on the part number, checked almost all the results and the prices, then i think i called to order to make sure the price was current or something. anyways, yah.

yeah its just the longetivity and the bite i presume. I have not had any performance clutch on my car or the cars i have driven, so i dont know how they feel. To me, a new stock clutch made shit loada difference, but i can only imagine it with the performance clutch that holds almost twice the torque we have. Must be good.
