The A20A4 is simply the Canadian version of the A20A3. Exact same specs.

If you're talking about a beefier motor, then the B20A from the JDM 86-89 accords is what you're looking for at 160 hp.

European A20A4 is A20A3 without emission and has ~5hp more, than A20A3.

5 more hp? sorry bud, but all A20 motors made eather 110 or 120hp. there weren't any 125hp motors.

The A20A3 has 85kW(116hp), A20A4 - 90kW (122hp), 122-116=6=~5.
That's my calculation. :)

But I see the Spec info depends on source of it.
Sometime I met the 110/120 hp relation, but IMHO it's a mix of A20A1, A20A2, A20A3, A20A4 specs (98,110,116,122 hp in my opinion).

Ok. A20A3 has less power than A20A4 because of emission. How big is difference - depends on source of information. ;)

Correct, all the A20A4's without cat. has 122hp. But the A20A2 only has 106hp instead of 110hp. But the A20A4 didnt get the dual stage intake manifold like the 88-89 A20A3.

To answer the original question.. Yes there was an Accord Si with 160hp. It was available only in Japan and a couple of other countries though.

I've never seen the dual stage intake on EuroA20Ax
JDM Si (B20A) has chasis CA3.

The A20A4 is the engine used in the 89 Accord Si that is in Australia. It has 122Hp according to Pauls's site (http://www.pauldesign.ru/honda/about.html)

That's because the A20A4 from the european market never featured that manifold. They were basically the same throughout all years. But still it makes the same power as the USDM A20A3 88-89 dualstage engine.
