I was messing around with a spare fender an doubled it up over the existing fender to make it look like a wide body... I know I need pics, they'll be up later.

I'm going to leave the gap at the rear near the door... I'm not sure If I'll fill in the gap at the front... the bottom is okay and the top, well it can be bent in and molded to the existing fender.

Pictures Pictures Pictures.

Does it really look wide body or does it just look like u have one fender on top of the other?

I'd like too see that since I'm considering to get wide fenders made on mine. Just to get an idea.

Hm. Hopefully you'll be able to get some pics of this, so we can all see what its like. It sounds both promsing and risky.

i got brand new fenders in my garage too. i put them aside the ones on my ride and if u did some nice fiberglassing and welding u can get them to look wide body crazy. what looks real odd is that u dont got it on the back fenders so ur s.o.l

uhh...it will take more than a fender flare to get a tire like that under there. its pretty hard to find a wheel thats 9-10" wide in a 4x100 pattern, unless its a drag wheel. plus, you'd need an insane offset. hitting the fender will be the least of your worries.

not only this, but a tire that wide will really slow you down. thats a lot of drag, and an A20, B20, etc, even built, won't create enough power to make this worthwhile. pro all motor drag hondas making 240-280 whp might use a slick about that wide. this will hinder performance on a 3g without a lot of power.

i think justin meant to say 225. cause that tire is not hard to fit in there.

i need pics, i would consiter doing this too, maybe its just not being able to see my cars (im at college), but i really want to mod the hell out of them this summer, and this is one more thing i could do while im making custom kits and the like. Im planning on making a fiberglass front bumper kit, so i could incorperate wider sides for the wide fenders. i want pics!
