Yeah, sorry about that. I guess my photography-hobby has taken away my sense of common desency.


Anyway, it's great that people are out taking pictures and sharing them for all to see. I know when I started taking pics, they looked rather "flat", uninspired and boring, but I improved! It took alot of practice (3500 pics worth of it), and some pointers, but I eventually got the hang of it. Taking a good picture is 50% user, 20% camera and 30% luck.


I also love the unconventional settings, the surrounding, the background, (some of) the angles, the "mood" or "message" of the pics and placement of the cars. In my book, that shows inspiredness, enthusiasm and a will to create.



Now then, by permission I hope to soon have, I have made a few adjustments to one of the pictures taken. In it I've corrected the colorbalance, sharpend it, increased the contrast and framed it, just to show you what results are achieved by making after-adjustments to an already "ok" image. Sorry if I'm out of my place here.

I know how you feel. I can't figure out what the hell all the little buttons and modes, and settings are on my camera. I've got the Canon PowerShot G75.

the thing is...that was HOW the car look. The lights were actually orange i kid you not. The pictures came out identical to the real life shots..minus the focus..

Anyways would you llike to explain those adjustments to me? I'm curious. And you can fix all the pics if you want, i don't mind seeing what you will do with it. :D

I think the setting, car placement, and night all add to these pics. I wish I had scenery around here to take pics like that.

honestly myself, i don't like correcting the shot. I like to show the shot as how it was taken. The aftertouches you took are great for a more professional look and I am curious on how to do. But for just random shots, i rather have the natural untouch shots. I feel that it looks better because you know thats how the lens of the camera saw it.
