hopefully i'll be doing this too. even though my 4dr is currently my daily driver, i HATE the auto in it. heck, i hate autos period. they suck. my '86 hatch(parts car) seems to have tons more power than my auto, cuz it's a 5 spd. and that's the one that's gonna be in my 4dr hopefully by the end of this month ;)

wel you igure the weight tranfered to th torque convertor is equal to reoughly 25% of total power outpu. My conversion opened a huge doorway. just be careful. i swapped to connectors and now I have 5 horn buttons and no cruise control. man clear beer is hard on you. Its been 15 minute tying this and 2 spell checks.

i coulda used some parts :S my thing with the letters (P,R,N,D4...) [n00b lingo] is all melted so im thinkin of gettin a new one :P 2 lazy tho...

i weeped with joy when mine was out... oh wait, that may have been because the hell i went through with the swap was over...

I did my swap in just over 6 hours thats taking out the auto putting in the 5speed changing the peddles to and putting in the shifter to and wireing the reverse lights

man, i couldnt be happier if i were to lose the auto! maybe soon. i'd rather do a full engine swap with manual tranny as well. but dont we all.
