I just put the header on the ride and I love it. But after I pulled the dizzy and reset the timing 15 + 2 degrees.
At a stand still and just idling she will idle at 750 rpm on the dot. but while I'm driving and start to come to a stop (braking) the idle drops to 250rpm and acts as if she wants to stall. after sitting for a moment the idle will get back to 750rpm.
Does this sound like a vacuum drain from braking or do I just need to adjust the idle.

My car does that too but mine does it because I am running rich. You can def play with the idle screw and try to correct it.

I had to run to Boston today to pick up my oldest girl. Without running the A/C it drops when I push in the clutch and apply the brakes. But it levels back to 750rpm within 10-15 seconds.

But if I run the A/C it doesn't drop. :dunno:

Because the ac idle boost solenoid valve sends a signal to the ECU to keep the idle up when the AC's on. Check the Throttle angle/position sensor. It should have between 4-6k ohms and the throttle cable tension. Thats where I'd start, but thats just me. Gimme a yell at the house or on the cell if ya need anything else Phil

You have a idle Screw right on the TB That Big flat head Screw right at the top of your TB turn it out and your idle will go up.
