my battery light came on what do i need to do to fix it?

Well you need to get your starting and charging systems tested.

Where do you live? I have the sweetest equipment but no one lives near me :( Midtronics XL portable starting and charging system tool. It tests batterys even if they are completely dead. And it will test starters and alternators. All you have to do is hook up the connectors to the battery and perform the basic things it tells you to do.

But take it to a reliable place b/c they should have a tool just like that or something a little lower but should be fine. A lot of shops won't have the tool since it costs $1500 for it :) That's why I love ebay b/c I got it for $400 brand new.

But have them run a starting and charging systems check some will do this for free but usually those are the places that will just throw parts at a car to fix it.
