ya have any tips on how to change or fix ignition switch?

Its not very hard at all. Its not like changing the actual key cylinder assembly. The electrical portion is attatched to the back of the cylinder assembly. Heres the Maint Manual page

It's easy, I did mine about 2 months ago.

i started my day going to pull a part (junk yard) went and got out what i needed. later on that day i took my time and switch the switch with easy. i had to change 2 fuses that was burnt. now my ride is running sweet. not only that my dash working my middle temp working my lil lites on the temp working. also my rear window working . thank GOD and my gEEZ for the 411. good looking out gang. THANK YOU. the old switch was the root to all evil. it was all F@Cked up.

so far i had to change the fuel filter, clutch with kit, tune up, ground wires, ign switch, for now. i am learing alot on how to fix my own ride. :rockon:
