fenders & hood?

does anyone know if an 88 or 89 sedan hood & fenders will fit an 86 or 87 sedan? i only know that an 86 & 87 are the same, but i don't know about 88 or 89; i only know that they have diferent bumpers and tail lights i think. how about doors?

thanks for welcoming me. i'll be sure to attend some kind of meet in the future after i have some time to work on my lx (right now it looks like shit, lol). i went to the junk yard and got me a rear passenger door(from an 87 lx), but i can't find no other good fenders, doors, or hoods, unless they're from the 88s & 89s :sad2: ....

i also noticed that the grilles and headlight cover trim are different on 88 & 89s also, that's why i'm wondering if the hood will fit the same...

hoods will fit, and the grilles are interchangable.

thanks a lot, but do you know if ALL hoods are interchangable between our cars (coupe, sedan, & hatch) or if only hoods from the same body styles are interchangable?

Lived there, almoist as bad as Oregon, more taller hills tho. I like my desert just fine.

Glad to hear about th efenders-hood etc. though, found another yard where the parts are cheaper yet for me. Got to do your own yanking tho', oh well. Good luck on your project.

just came bace from hayward junkyard a couple hours ago, it was muddy as hell! well i found a couple good hoods, but i was settled for a very clean, nice fron bummper from a 88;it was too good of a find and i couldn't pass it up because it matched my paint (maroon)! i also scooped up an integra front lip and it damn near fits perfect (but not until i modify it). i'll put it on when i have some time (probly in a couple weeks) and try to post pics.

I hope you grabbed the lights for the bumper to, the 86-87 mounted differently and were a slightly different size/location.
