Don't worry, nothing happened to the beloved 3g, lol. Now it just has a [much faster] little brother! Just brought this home tonight.... my new 2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i :D Bought it brand new, only 3 miles on it when we drove it off the showroom floor.... this is my first new vehicle ever!

Enjoy!

I was gonna get one of those this year but I opted to mod my car. I love the CBR 600's. Good choice.

You're crazy, be careful out there. Do not under estimate the little engine. Corners are awsome and dangerous if going in with too much speed. Sportbikes have the abilty of making you feel like a superhero at the end of the day, especially if you fine some twisties and and few long straights thrown in for some terminal velosity applications.

Get rid of the fockin' mud flap!!!

I just bought my brothers 87 Kawasaki EX500. Its not much to look at but runs good. Its kind of a fixer upper and I got a good price on it.

Hi, I had a 92 Yamaha FZR600 years ago and it was really nice. I always wanted to get a Honda though. But I got married :uh: and I got kids. Now I just enjoy my suburban with the family and my nice hatch for me. I put like 140MPH on my bike. Let us know How fast you can go later on.

Thanks everyone for your comments!! :) I went and got my helmet tonight so I was able to ride around for awile.... I love it!! It's up to 74 miles as of now, lol. To answer a few questions.... I paid roughly $8500.00 for everything, total out the door. Since it's still not broken in, I really can't go all that fast yet, and they say to not go above 60mph, so I really haven't gone much faster than that. It's really smooth though, and once you get in the right position it's actually pretty comfortable for a bike. Anyways, I'm happy with it :)

mind me asking how tall you are Jared? I'm 6'4" and a bit worried that i'd be cramped on a cbr, i've sat on one but never gone for a ride.

I've riden a Yamada YZF 600 and I'm 6'0. I didn't feel cramped. In fact, it would have been nice to be a little bigger.

Nice bike Jared, like the color. Make sure you have a clear head driving that. Watch out for other drivers especially!! Be carefull man, them things are dangerous for the un-experienced driver. Don't get too crazy on that & loose it. Good luck.

Very nice choice my friend. In roughly a year, I will be purchasing a sportbike as well. I'm leaning either towards a 01 to 03 CBR 600, Yamaha R6, or a possible GSX-R 600. It's a toss up at the moment, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for all the compliments!! :D I'm roughly 5ft 11in 155 lbs for whoever it was that asked. I fit on the bike very comfortably. Still takes some getting used to to find just the right sitting position, but after trying a few you find a good spot. Anyways, I'm seriously loving this thing!! Seemingly endless amounts of power in virtually every gear, and I've never even full throttled it! Hell going 80 on the highway in 6th gear, I give it a little gas and make the speedometer jumps by 5's (it's digital, so it takes a second to catch up). Seriously hauls ass! Just a swift flip of the wrist and you blast by everybody in no time, lol. I'm up to 500 miles already (in 5 days!) and it's doing just great! Gonna be ready for my first oil change in another 100 miles, lol. I gotta go out and wash and wax it tonight, it's sooo dirty after getting caught in the rain while riding home from work the other night.

ddude2uc, you're definitely right about riding with a clear head. Got that covered though... I do not drink or do drugs of anykind, so keeping a clear head is no problem for me (and damn proud of it too!) I know what ya mean though.... really gotta pay close attention to what everyone else is doing and who's gonna pull out in front of you next, lol. People are crazy down here, so you've really gotta be careful and alert at all times.

Anyways, thanks again for the kind words! I need to take some daytime pictures now! Oh yea almost forgot to mention... I've been getting about 41 mpg each fillup! Can't beat that

Hahaha... well, he found out last week. I wasn't really planning on telling him just yet, but 15 minutes before I was to leave work this HUGE ass thunderstorm comes hauling ass through and it's pouring down rain. I wait a little bit and it stops raining, so I start heading home. Got about 2 miles and it started raining again so I just turned around and went to my dads house. He came home after a little while, and was...uhhh... pleasantly suprised by a bike sitting in his driveway. I could tell he wasn't too happy about it, but he took it alot better than I thought. Overall, not too bad. He still took me out for pizza, so I guess that's good, lol.

Anyways, it was such a nice day out on sunday I decided to go to my special place and take lots of daytime pictures. Since the ones I posted before were all nighttime and not the greatest, here's a few better ones. Oh yea, bought it just over a week ago (sun oct 17th) with 3 miles on it, and it's now at 1108 miles, and doing absolutely perfect! Still getting 41-43 mpg

That is sweet. I owned a 94 F2 (black, white, and red) back in the day. Man, they are sweet!!! Yours is FI, right? I do HATE those digital gauges on the new sport bikes though. Does it have an ECM??? Nice pickup!

Thanks!! Yea it's fuel injected, and has an ECM and all that good stuff. The RR has dual stage fuel injection (two injectors per cylinder). You can actually get a data commander to sort of "reflash" the ECM with different fuel mapping and such.... pretty neat. I don't mind the gauges too much.... only thing I don't like about digital gauges in general (in anything) is they don't accurately show rate of change. Other than that though I kinda like them cuz it gives you an accurate reading that's very easy to read with a quick glance (which is good for me with my horrible vision... 20/70 corrected). This little motor has got some balls though, let me tell ya!! hahah

Damn dude. You're racking up the miles on that thing. Keep the mileage down if you plan to sell in the future. :) Like to me.
