My choke on is garbage. It had been the cause of many of the idle problems that have happened in my car over the last summer.

I would like to know where I could get a replacement electric choke, and how difficult it would be to install it.

Any information would be really great.

Thanks

Sorry dude... I've only removed a faulty one (sort of snapped it off)... I never replaced one...

are you sure it's not just diconnected? check for voltage at the choke heater wire, if there is none then it's a more complex problem... if there is voltage and you really feel you choke is broken you can just remove the choke and grab another one from the junkyard or go to manual choke even.

Chokes have ALWAYS been a tough job to get right. Just replace entire carb till you get one that works.
Junk yard tip for carbs. Get one with fuel still in it.So you know it hasn't been sitting for a while and messing up the float/tip. Just make sure your getting 12 volts to choke 1st,as POS carb says.
