Well, guys here are some pics of my redone taillights. I pulled them apart, repainted most of the inside black, removed most of the reflectors, and nightshaded the inside of the clear plastic outer shell. I haven't seen them lit up yet, but I have all colored bulbs to make them "somewhat" legal.
Here they are @Cardomain site -- look on page 3 !! (http://members.cardomain.com/aircougar31)

Can you still see out of them during the day, because when i tinted my front signals that dark...you can't see them during the day, but at night they are fine........

I was going to do my rear tails, but haven't gotten the guts yet.

Yeah, you can still see into them a bit, I only put 2 and half coats of nightshade in there... just to be clear here, these are coated with nightshade on the INSIDE of the Clear taillight cover. Before putting the clear piece back together with the outer shell, I sprayed them with the nightshade, and then reassembled the light. the effect and look are a bit different from just spraying the outside of the light, and it is more convincing looking towards a stock taillight.
Still not exactly legal, but the look like authentic OEM pieces this way...IMO

They look nice, but I think the tint's too dark.

yah i agree with the hmong ganster, that is pretty dark. too dark for my taste, but if your car had a theme going like black on black or white/black, then it'd look better. cuz brown doesn't really go.

I don't know where you got brown from? The car is grey... and I do have some night shots, but I don't have time to put them up today...
And I plan on a matching color scheme sometime soon, maybe springtime.
