bingo. ;) and mike, on some cars it was black. A hitchie i saw in the junkyard had black.

you know that box is important, i did'nt think so, but when i had turned a corner fast (in my 86), the oil light came on and was blinking while it was making that beeping sound.
i've read on here that it does someother stuff, i forgot.

it controls your SIDE markers too

that box unter the radio cant control ur oil preshure and alot of the stuff thats computer ans sensors can be tost in a carbd g 3 my 86 ran without the ecu without the vacum box no fule relay i tost like half a harnes in my 86 cause it had an electrical gremlin somwhere in thier so i tost most the shit the car ran fine yea and if u guys ever have a problem withthe fule relay bypass it get 10 ft of wire and hook up pos conection to the coil power and run it to the pump and find a ground and ground it and the pumpo will run on 12v no problem i did this cause i usto blow relays all the time for no reasoni would buy a realy new from honda and it be dead in a month i had all kinda wire wizard cheak out my car and thay dint know what was up so at that point i ript all the wireing out that dint look usefule :rockon:

i did'nt say it controls it, i said it monitors low oild pressure or low oil.
the ecu under the seat is for emission reasons, and don't say it does'nt work because it does.

but that box controls the sider marker's, monitor oil, doors and seat belt, and i belive it also monitors whicher brake light goes out . . . . . .

thier's a switch within the door frame those have a tendency to rust, just spray some wd or pb blaster, that'll take care of it....
