Tach pulse

@ 3250rpm doing 80mph the tach will pulse. Not a great distance but only about 100rpm if that. And this is the only point it will do this. No other problems this is just one of those "Does your 3geez ever do this" :dunno:

No my tach is ok, but even with a new cable my speedometer will wobble below about 40 mi/hr.

years ago, my car's tach would jump a tiny bit every now and then while driving at a steady highway speed.
it turned out that my timing belt had badly worn teeth in a small section. so when that section spun across the crank sprocket just right, it would slip for an instant.
this was intermittent however, i doubt you have the same problem if you're talking about a constant pulsation.
