Well, good news. To catch u all up, I re+re'd motor to do main oil seal and tranny seals. Stupid?? Ya, motor didnt even have to come out. So keep that in mind if u start leaking oil like a siv.

Upon puttin it back in, there was no idle, ran fine off choke, but that was it. Fucked with carb for weeks!!! Finally, found the problem.

Somewhere between removing the motor and puttin it back in, I lost power to my carb. After hot wiring that up, problem fixed, runs like a dream...

Im not quite sure what could of happened. Im gettin power through fuse box?? Not gettin it from connections into the carb, or the harness...

I've hot wired it for now, but what could of caused this?

Power to the carb?

You mean the cut-off solenoid or the choke wire?

The solenoid is on with ignition... not shure how it is wired... you might want to check pauls manual.

Manaul says that the solenoid is controlled by the solenoid control unit. It's supposed to close when decelerating i think.

You should check out www.cheapmanuals.com I just picked up a service manual on CD for my car there for $0.99 + shipping, cost me about $7.00 Cdn total.
