When installing b16 engine into a 3g do you have to buy different axles and shift rod like it say in place racing? also if so where i can i buy other than place racing

place racing went out of buisiness. nobodys found someone else to make mounts, axles, etc. btw a b16 is not a very good swap if you ask me i would just go with the jdm b20. much more easier and cheaper

Only way to do it these days is custom mounts, axles, linkage, etc.

mounts arent that hard if you are good at fabrication, neither is linkage... custom axles however... youre probably looking at alot of money to get those made.

It really sucks that no one makes mounts anymore... I care a bit less since I already got my engine swap but it sucks....

unequal length A20 axles suck. I'd much prefer using a halfshaft, which I did.

i've never seen that company. I'd call or email them and ask if they're their own mounts or if they're reselling the PR mounts. If they're reselling the PR mounts, they wont be available anymore.

those might be worth it but beware they might not have updated in a while so they might not have em. dont hurt to call or email. anyway, you still gotta worry about axles, wiring, and linkage. btw if you decide to do this. please for the love of god. dont put a b16 in there. your gonna be sorry. i found a b18 integra in the j-yard about a week ago. if i had the money to buy the engine( 500 bucks)and had a car to put it into. it would have been sold with out the dude sayin "but you dont know if it runs". i wouldnt care, you can always rebuild and repair.

Sorry to blow your buble, but the B18 you found at the junkyard is probably not Vtec.
Steve has B16 in his car, and after we finished the swap, it was worth every penny.
