I just read the latest HondaTuning magazine and theres a feature on a '91 NSX with 2002 NSX Headlight COnversion. the '91 had pop-up headlights, the 2002 headlights were stationary. would it be easy, if possiblem, to convert my 89 lx pop-up headlights to some stationary NSX units or maybe even the square ones off the last-gen Prelude?

there are alot of pop-up head light conversions (RX7, 240, NSX, corrola, yotta yotta) but look at the angles. we have a pretty steep angle on the headlight, those angles are pretty acute on those cars. it can be done but there is going to be a lot of fabrication. run a search on the topic, its been brought up a few times.

good luck, i think the 5th gen lude is alot easier than NSX staitionary headlights. You do know the 91 NSX needed new fenders bumper and headlights in order to modify to the stationary headlights. I love the popup headlights from the NSX since it was rectangular rather than square like ours. Plus the angle of the popup was similar to sleepy eyes and it had projectors in them.

Good luck with what you want to do. I believe one the members here has lude conversion on their car. Hondavtec or something like that.

Yea one guy has the newer lude headlights, don't look all that great to me. Now if you were able to get some hosings special made for the 3g it could look pretty good. Mario did a drawing of something similar with S15 headlights, looked pretty good. ;)
