I know what they are, and I sure wish Honda still made them. There was a girl I dated in college whose dad had two of those things, and what a blast they were! Whenever we would go to her house, we would take them out and run them. They had some great property too, with some open fields, woods, and even a creek bed. When you say odyssey, I'm sure people are thinking of the minivan, but they are actually one man, small dune-buggy type vehicles that were powered by the CR-250 motocross engine. Man, them things would fly!

i've heard of b16's being dropped in oddysee's and sand rails a few times. it would be cool to see a turbo a20 on a sandrail. I imagine the cast iron block should be a little more resistant to sand then an aluminum block.

You're not really serious, are you? Do you have enough room on the frame? What about weight distribution? Where would you mount the shifter, radiator, axles, etc.?
I think you would probably need to start with a bigger frame, maybe like one of those VW rails.

b16 in a small one would be tight.

8000rpms on sand sounds a little fun

Nuthing as fun as the gixxer motor on the small go kart.
I would do anythang for that!

well i have a welder and plasma cutter. And a whole lx car that has front end damage but all the mechancle is fine.So I will try if it doesnt work ohwell.Im sure it will be fun trying. One of my neighbors is a custom bike builder and said he thinks it can be done.I dont see why not!I no it doesnt got much to do with bikes. But he said he will help if I run into problems.I think it would be fun.And probilly the only rwd a20 lol.

ha ha ha my friend has one, good luck getting that engine in there, they are small, sand rail would work. I saw a sand rail that had an S2000 F20 turboed in it. They just had it slightly over 300 hp low boost. :D

That would be sweet if you get it to work, the only prob I see would be hooking up the trans since the motor will be behind you and it was made for a front engine vehicle, but still a good idea/project.

Sounds like a fun project. Are you using a 250 or 350 frame?
