broke front motor mount
broke d/s axle (towed)
same axle popped out of the trans (towed)
$500 pioneer 8400 shits out on me
d/s power window motor freaks out and quits
and now........

EDIT: PICS OF MY CTF(catastrophic tranny failure) aparently, the spider gear came lose and destroyed the case and blew out the vss and both axles...lol

well it exploded out around the shift linkage! their is a big ass whole all the way around the linkage, i guess the differentail (sp) was damaged and shattered!

man, i havent seen a tranny break apart since maybe my cousin's trans am. it's puttin down some power, so i can imagine that with the 3gee. wonder what exactly went wrong with yours. besides the axle poping out. personally, i'd hang on to the 3gee, maybe put another tranny in or something. considering i can get a pretty decent one from the junk yard for about $100. that was a manual tranny right? i'd hate that to happen to mine, its auto though.

well so far ive got..

both axles out
battery out
starter out
linkage off( it kinda took itself off)
speed sens off (dido /\)
4 upper trans bolts
dog bone mount
all bs grounds/wires

i still need to...

undo lower mount
take all lower bolts out( how many?)
undo clutch cable

so far so smooth except for gods contribution... 4in of rain :sad2: Ive definatly been acting like bruce almighty lately :blah:

Mine did the same fucking thing today,except I didn't realize it, no noise nothing until I had driven about 3 blocks, and all of a sudden it went BOOOM and I stopped and noticed a shit load of tranny fluid for 3 blocks....my car doesn't move, and I had it towed.

As for the car.... knowing you youll have another 3gee within 2 months (just like you did after your grey one) just hang in there and just drive the rex for a while. Maybe youll pick up some hinas in it or somthing. Good luck with whatever you do and good luck replacing the trans.

yea I have seen the diff blow before, and they do it really quick at low speeds. Matt's blew we he just started to drive only 100ft. axle pooping out has to be the C-clip. HU could be blow fuse, or needs to be cleaned???? Keep the car and get an new tranny and the 1.8 lude tranny can work, but you have to swap in the accord diff and gear shafts, 2.0Si will bolt on no problem. With the g/f, try to look to the future, the positive.

sorry to hear about your bad luck, man. i blew up my last transmission too (CTF lol), a month after i had just finished swapping over from an automatic. i was coming out of a parking lot, driving normal, and my car dies. at first i thought it was the clutch cable but then my friend looked at the road behind the car and was like, "uh, dude..."
pretty sad when you look down and see a puddle of mtf with a pinion gear lying in it:(
just try to see it as an opportunity though; i've got an aluminum flywheel and a hybrid integra transmission that are going on this weekend :thumbup:
when something breaks (which is quite often for me), make it better.

yeah that shit sucks. doing one legged burnouts can cause that too. Id check your mounts and stuff to make sure everything else was good...

My tranny just went b/c the diff was making a horribly banging and scraping noise but luckily I got it home ten miles and to the shop 10 more miles w/o that happening. I just hope the used tranny works! I promised myself I would replace all of the engine mounts within the next month so this tranny doesn't kill itself too. I never did burnouts but I bet all of the mounts being shot killed the differential.
