???s on bosch horns

i replaced the factory horns with bosch horns...i didn't use the relay that came with the horns because i believed (maybe wrongly) that the factory horns already had a relay...

anyway, the bosch horns sound terrible...like a couple of dying cows...

can you advise a quick and dirty procedure for connecting a relay to the bosch horns?
