Black plastic

I am just wondering if any one else has a large bit of black plastic under the front of the car?? if yes could I remove it?? and what is the purpose of it??

you can remove it, but it is there for a reason... to keep your engine clean

most people take them off because they spend so much time workin under thier car's that it just becomes a pain in the neck

I pulled mine, it was filthy on the side that is in the engine compartment. Im not sure if I will put it back on cause my car is running cooler now

I did end up taking it off because it was hanging down in some places kuz there were screws missing so now my engine runs cooler and looks better from the outside.
