copper and/or zinc plating

ok guys, i've learned how to copper plate... zinc plating is supposed to be the same...

my question is this: should i copper plate or zinc plate my valve cover, or other parts in my engine bay? maybe the metal water pipes? i may even try emblems, too...

hell, maybe i have a marketable tool here... cheap electroplating...

we'll see how my first parts turn out when i rig up a larger tub for plating... right now, my container isn't big enough for much of anything...

i think that would look really nice. i've seen copper plated engine parts before. usually you'll see chromed pieces, still has copper plating under though doesnt it. anyway, that would be different and stylish.
