Hey yo, im sure that we down for another meet. So who's up for a small get togther in mid Jan? after christmas break and stuff?

No need to rush or nothing, just figureing out who's down and when they have time. Wanna try to get more cars then last bay area meet (6 Honda's and 1 CRX)

Damn, wish I could make the meet, but my car has officialy died and is goin to the shop to get fixed for the first time. I tried everything to get my charging system to work again, but everything I tried failed. But i can't wait until I get my taxes, cause i am goin car huntin (just a car to get around in until the accord is back on its feet).

But I am actually thinkin of instead of putting the car into the shop, I'll wait for my B18C5 swap with everything included for $1k (ecu, engine, tranny, axels, everything.). That way it a new wiring system put into the car and no more charging problem with old motor. But the sucky assed part is after I am done with the swap, gotta take it to a ref of the epa and have them inspect it and pass/no-pass it. once that is done gotta go get it smogged, then registerd at the DMV for new vin #'s and all that crap, but oh well I'll have a B18 to mod up lol.

But yeah good luck with the meet until I am back up and running. other than that I am pimpin around in my wifes pontiac lol. oh damn still gotta get the other 2 rims to get out of rice mode lol, damn it, ok rims first swap second lol.

Oh and also the B18C5 that i am gettin is from a 91 teg, I could get the one from a 93 or 95 teg (i think its a 93) for the same price. Oh also the tranny is cable not hydro.

I can't think lol im tired.................

yo richard, you got your infos all mixed up bro, the b18c5 only came in the 97-98 and also in the 2000 itr's, 93 never had a type r, they had sir and xir which came with b16's not 18's. only thing close to wat youre talkin about is the 93 gsr wich had a b17, good luck finding that. soo yah get your infos corrected. and also there's a snow ball's chance in hot hell that you'll get a b18c5 for 1 grand, let alone the block or head. with everything i'd say it'll run you upwards of 3-4 grand, if that, then you would need ALOT more for the swap. sooo yah man, sorry you can't make it to the meet tho.

if it only came from the 97-8 and the 200 ITR's, then y the hell does he say he got it from a 91 teg, I even looked at the stamp on it, it says B18C5 also he got it marked on top in yellow sayin it from a 91 teg. Mabey the guy at the yard got his shit mixed lol. but anyways, I did talk to the guy that day when I went motor huntin for a B16 and found they only had B18's avalible, also the D16's too. But the only 2 B18s he had left were C5's. I even asked him numerous times if he was really gonna sell it to me with everything for $1k he said yup. I thought i was trippin but its his word. he is even gonna give me the teg tranny, axels, ecu, everything from the teg, might be different years but its what he said, "everything". I might wanna check again for what ecu he may give me in this "package" (the motor and everything for $1k), then i would know what i am up in LOL. But yeah it really says B18C5 on there, and it may be from a 97-8 teg and he got his info wrong lol, but i am still gonna get it. seems like a hell of a steal lol.

nah dude this guy is for real, i done lots of :deal:'s with him for all kinds of parts for my car, we set the price and discuss it then when i get the cash in about a week or 2 depending how long i tell him, its as good as done. i told him it was gonna take me about a month or so to get the bills and he is cool with it, got it all on hold for me on a crate, ready to go. once i get the motor and everything, gonna yank the A20 out and keep it so i can make a original style race motor out of it (with whatever i can lol) and use it whenever i need it. but gonna clean it all up first. also gonna pull all the wiring out so i can get the new (old but still) motor in its place. once i also get all the wires out, gonna shred out any unused wires too.

oh yeah i went back and checked the plate stamp, its a b18c5 for sure, but whatever he wrote on there is gonna be a no bugger to me, just gonna leave it as is and not tell him lol.
