:stupid: ok heres my problem that i need some help with first one. I wanna change my bumbers from the 87 style to an 88-89 style cause i like those better also does any one know a better price because around here is like $500 for both of them(i dont feel like paying that much for a damn bumber!) ok second is i am gooing to be getting 17x7in rims and i wanna know if they are going to rub if i put them on i know it will take away some power put i dunno if they will rub. just tell me wut you guys think

dunno about your bumper dilema, but I know those rims won't rub with the proper tires. as long as you get 215/40/17 or smaller you will be fine. Peace

nah man the bumpers should work fine. You won't have to worry about the rims. I changed to LX bumperso on my 87. I had the black bumpers but I went to the yard and found some bumpres off an LX for $48 each. Got them painted and it changed the whole look of the car.
Go for it.

The offset of the rims play a more important role than tire sizes, make sure to get around 40mm or so of offset

I crashed my accord...and I went to the Honda dealer..they wanted $200 for the new bumper...I found a store where they sell made in taiwan body kits...I got my new black it was painted stock for $50...but I'm in Puerto Rico...also...I just put en mi car 16's 7.5 with 195/50R16 they dont rub....offset is 42mm

accordboricua so your saying you were abl to get a bumber for an 89? for $50? cause if that is wut you gt i will buy some from you and i will pay shipping if it aint to much
