you wouldnt have happened to make that outta plastic garden edging would ya? you should take some pix farther away from the car and some other angle closer too. not bad.

Is it a teg lip or a garden lip?

12-22-2004, 10:19 PM
neither my friends, its the lower 1 1/2 inches of an 86 bumper with the grille bar. i need to rework it, and maybe make one out of fiberglass too.

ah, now i see since you said that. ok, well still more pix would be nice man. doest it scrape on bumps or anything?

not yet, im sure it will when its 1 1/2 inches lower this summer

i should clarify too, it is attached over the bottom inch of the bumper, so it doesnt stick the full 1 1/2 inches down.

soo it's one big bumper now. atleast it fits haha. just don't park soo close to the car pump things in the lots.

yeah, i gotta play around with the fitment, it needs about 1 more inch to fit perfectly.

How did you attach the front lip? I've been trying to do a setup similiar to yours using the same lip?

i screwed in on in the wheel wells and in the middle in the front, this is just temperary, when it gets warm i will make a fiberglass version to fit perfectly.

you have an 88 bumper, your sides are longer, and will require more work to make this particular lip fit well.

i dunno i like the 88-89 bumper's more than the 86-87....
