Ok, I'm going to get an aftermarket ignition coil for my car with christmas money. I'm looking on Summit Racing because I have $10 off there since my parents bought my muffler there and they gave us $10 off next purchase. Anyways, I'm looking at both the MSD Blaster 2, and Accel Super Stock. There's 2 versions of both and I'm really confused.

Accel: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=ACC%2D8140&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=accel+coil
and
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=ACC%2D8145&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=accel+coil

One is 42,000 volt and the other is 45,000 volt. Is that the only difference and which one of those should I get if I went with Accel.

MSD:

and
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MSD%2D8203&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=MSD+blaster

They're both 45,000 volt, but it looks like the second one comes with some extra stuff. if I went with the MSD, do I need the $35 one or is just the $30 one fine.

i smoked an accel in a few days... If i were you id get the MSD, ive never heard anyone blow it. You dont need a ballast resistor but the coil wire boots and terminal extender might come in handy... i say get the one with the extra stuff... its like $5 more
