Is there an easier way to get to the ecu or do i need to take out the seat or is the light on the back and thats how i see it blink. Thanks. Its probly something easy but im used to just pulling back the carpet on my crx.

The light's on the back of the ECU. Push the seat all the way forward, the ECU is right there, and there's a little plastic door you have to pop open, that's where the light is.

allright thanks guys i was about to rip the seat out and then i wouldnt of been able to find it anyways. Ill probly post the code im getting in a little while

it is map sensor. it is diconnected or not working right.

You were having basically the same problem as me, my ecu isnt throwing any codes though. I got a 4th gen map sensor I'm putting in, hopefully it will solve my problems. And yours too, if you get a new sensor.:alc:

yea i hope i need to figure out if something is just unplugged or if it is broke. About how much did you have to pay for yours

Got it used from another member for $30. Hopefully you can score a deal also. I priced a new on and it was almost $200!!! Ouch. Try a wreckking yard maybe.

well i got lucky. I forgot when i got my new motor, it came with one. Went and put it in and the check engine light is off

well it helped a little and then i started to drive down the road and almost got downtown to talk to a friend because he wanted to meet there to see how it helped and about halfway there the pgm fi light came back on again so in a few im going to go check which code it is throwing now

Yes it is. Dammit!!!
Thats what my ecu threw when my whole problem started. But did it run better with the different map sensor?? And did you get your egr off and cleaned, and reset the ecu??

I got the map sensor changed and it helped with my bog some. Once i got it changed i reset the computer and then i was driving down the road and the light came back on so i looked at the code and it is the egr one so i have another one here and i cleaned it up real nice so im going to change it tomarow. My luck as soon as i get it changed and get everything put back together it will throw another code.
