I got some new speakers for the rear deack and doors. Tell me what you think.

For the rear deack I got AudioBahn AS65Q 3-Way with removable tweeters. I am leaving the Tweeters in for now. It has built in Crossovers and runs 100watts RMS/200Watts ACH, 94dB sensitivity. $30 plus tax at Frys

For the doors I got Blaupunct 2-ways. 40 Watts RMS/120 Watts Max, 91dB. $50 plus tax at Frys

I put the stock cover over the door mounts but not the rears. I think the Blaupunct sound better than the Audiobahns.

For now I still got the stock cassete unit in so I am wondering if the 3-way Audiobahns are just under powered and would sound better with more amps?

I am new at this so any help would be apreciated. Thanks :)

looks like you made out pretty good on those. if you get a nice amp to run higher frequency sounds on, that would up the performance on the rears. then you can tune them to have the same volume as the fronts, if the fronts are louder. i'd like to run my rear 6x9's on an amp, they are high watt, so running off the deck is kind of a waste. they do have excelent high volume sound though. 1st component speakers i've had they wont distort at extreme volume levels. mine are Boss brand, not thought of well for their subs though, which i blew out my last 2 .

hey, i've got those same blaupunkts in my dx! they sound pretty good for the price.

try putting the audiobahns in the doors and see how they sound. highs always sound bad bouncing off the rear window, IMO. if it were me i would use which ever speaker sounded better in the doors and then throw the other ones in the back and just have them play lows.
