Pioneer DEH-740MP Head-unit
Memphis 15-PR62S 6.5"
Pioneer TS-A6995 6x9" in custom Box
(2) Memphis ST124 12" Subs In Independant Enclosure
(1) Memphis 16-ST500D Mono-Amp
(1) Memphis 16-ST3004 4 Channel-Amp
2 Farad Digital Impulse Capacitor

I have the 2 Memphis 12" Subs connected in Parallel into the 500 watt amp producing optimum power, around 500.

The Memphis 6.5" and Pioneer 6x9" are hooked into the 4 channel amp each speaker getting around 75 watts of power.

All of this is Flush mounted in a custom wood/carpet covered trunk for anti-theft and Sub box is attachec to car and subs are protected from removal unless ENTIRE trunk is removed systematically.

Future Plans:
Fiber-glass custom install
Memphis 6x9"
Custom dash for Anti-theft for Head-unit all out of Fiber-glass
Kicker panels for Memphis 6.5" and Tweeters

Lovin the hatch man, very nice install....how do those pioneer speakers sound? i was thinking of making custom boxes for 6x9's myself, once i get off my lazy non-profit ass and make some good money :lol But i just installed my deck and ill get pics on my site up sometime soon. Also i havnt seen pics of the outside of the car and those seats you got.

Very tidy setup man - really nice....
Next Week i'm hoping to get a Aiwa 4 X 45W Head Unit with light up face as well as a 12" Phoenix Gold Sub. I'm making my own enclosure. I've already got an altec 180W RMS amp + 4" Splits + 6.5 Sony Xplods -
Anyways - thats a really tidy setup you've got yourself there - but do you find the 6X9's and the subs compete for bass - thats why i never got 6X9;'s

Hey, sub enclosure and amp install look VERY nice... The 6x9s on the other hand messes up the clean look of the install. Plus, are the 6x9s mounted to the sub box? If not, they can be very dangerous in an accident. Other then that, looks good

Peace...

The pioneer 6x9's sound really good for $100 speakers...wish i could find Memphis ones though...

The 6x9's don't compete bass with the subs because the 6x9's HPC(High pass cross-over) is set to about 125...so the subs take care of that...and the pioneers stay within their range.

I do agree about the bulky 6x9 boxes but it makes then sound AMAZING...i am possibly going to do fiberglass molded to the side panels in the trunk at an angle or even get 6.5's instead to make smaller boxes for them
