I was looking for a decent amp to power 1 or 2 subs depending on the price or sub i decide to go with and i was looking at around a 150-200 dollar price range. So if you expert guys could tell me the downsides of this amp and if i would regret buying it later?

everywhere i look its about 175$ bucks

oh god...mind as well just throw your subs away now....hahaha PK is not that great. i admit they may look nice...but as for performance...not that great...DEF> goto the link shephard79 put...sounddomain will give you good info... The real question is...do you want your subs to rattle your care apart or do you want your subs for good sound quality??? Cause if you want to rattle your car apart and not care about the quality of the hits...go for a Kenwood, mtx, RF, AudioBahn..
But if you want quality bass (sound quality) go with memphis, diamond, alpine v-12, Cross-fire, ARC(if you want to put $2500 into an amp...haha)...and memphis really doesn't cost that much if you find the resources...just e-mail me if you want the hook up for CHEAP Memphis amps... just find what you want and see if ebay has for less.
that is how i got my 2 alpine amps.
i have one mono that putts out 200W at 2ohm and i am running a single alpine sub on it. and it sounds good to me.
just do your homework and shop on ebay.

Okay i think ive decided to go with Alpine, but the problem is...most alpine amps are spendy and less watts for them. i was thinking of getting one of the following....
http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=alpmrvt320&SVBName=30
or
http://www.stereoretail.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=MRVT407&Category_Code=A4
or
http://www.stereoretail.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=MRV-100M&Category_Code=A4

Which do you guys like best?? or are those not good enough either?:crying: :lol
Thanks for the info

Go for the MRV-100 (third Link) cause if you are powering subs all you want is a mono channel then hook them in parallel...

Why wouldnt i go with the second one? its puts out a max of 400 bridged...thats the same as a mono amp isnt it? its also cheaper and i think better looking. im new to the car stereo sceen but i just would like to learn more about it before i go with the third one. Also do mono amps have other options or things that would be better with subs, like bass boost etc.?:stick:

MRV-100M (third one) it putts out 300 Watt RMS at 2 ohms.
400 watt you think you will get, trust me you will never hit that hard. it made so you know how hard it can hit.
ALWAYS look at RMS power. RMS power is a true power, that is what you are going to hear.
if you are not sure what you want check this website and read the reviews people putt on the amps

I've heard a lot of good things about the jbl amps. I myself will be going with the jbl600.1 to power two infinity perfect 12's. Anyway, just my input.

POC...Peice of CRAP do not buy that amp...spend more money and get an Alpine, Rockford Fosgate. Only companies worth buying amps from
