New Aerodeck from Romania !!!

This is an '86 Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.0 EXi, 122 hp, with 4W ALB.

My first car was an '86 Aerodeck 2.0 EX, carburated, with only 105 hp and no electrical but the sun roof. I made an exchange with a friend of mine and got this Accord. Of course, it has some rust abouve the back wheels, because of the salt that is thrown on the streets each winter.

My modifications:

Flame Thrower kit
TSW Hockenheim 16" rims
Yokohama 215 40 R16 and Continental 225 45 R16 tires
CD, MP3-Player JVC KD-LH300
Speakers 60x2 and 75x2 RMS Rockford Fosgate Power series
Amplifier 4 chanels American Legacy
Amplifier 2 chanels Blitz Audio bridge for subwoofer 600 W rms
Subwoofer 15" Power Acoustik 800 W rms, dual voice coil
Capacitor Lanzar 2,4 Farad

Koni shock absorbers
Fixing the rusty parts
Painting the Accord
Selling the subwoofer (I have to flip down the rear seats... :thumbdn: )

wow, that red one is pretty clean. looks really nice how it is. it doesnt look too high with the bigger rims, does it have lower springs? i didnt see it listed in your mods. anyway, on the silver aerodeck, are those aluminium wheels, or steel wheels with hub caps? either way i like how they look.

Those are TSW rims... Trust me, at least in Romania, we have more racing cars than anyone could ever imagine. From a Sierra v12 owned by a friend of mine and Honda's with more than 250 hp, to Subaru that has 0-60 in less than 3 s and... those classic cars like Enzo and F1.

Everyone says that East Europeans countrys are poor... Well, they are. They are poor because some of the population is to rich !

very nice Aerodeck, very similar to mine.. I've te same color, the same engine (2.0 carb) and the same interior. Nice weels. Are this patchs on rear fenders original ?? I don't have this..
How much petrol did yor first Aerodeck (on carburator) consume ??

Nope, but they cover the rust... :alc:

It used to consume around 11-12 litres every 100 km in town, and 7-8 litres outside, so around 9-10 litres mixed. I even got to do more than 100 km with 10 litres in the city, so it was good...

Now, my 2.0 EXi, during the winter... Never under 15 km each 100 km.

What do you need ??? The 2.0 engine V-Tec, 186 hp, with gear box and everything, costs around 500 $ here...

I like both Silver and Red metalic Aerodecks. They both look very nice. I also like the way the Silver one sits a bit lowish - looks almost like the height in the Honda catalogue. My Aerodeck's left rear arch is also slowly rusting. I may have to think about fixing in a couple of years time. Let us know how difficult it is when you fix them.

Next stage, Koni shock absorbers, Brembo grooved and drilled brake discs, music upp-grade with 3 LCD monitors and a 150 hp OHC 16 valves Honda engine or a Turbo on this one. I would like the 186 hp 2.2 L v-tec engine from the prelude, but... hard to find. I will put pictures and keep in touch !!!

What's the car audio/security scene in Romania like??? And what city are you in??? My uncle and aunt live in Alba Ulia... Don't remember how to spell it. :) They own a restaurant/gas station there and a couple of years ago that I last talked to him he said that there are shops doing installs there.

I hope you can see the pictures from the last db drag racing here in Bucharest, my city. There are a lot of changes here since you left. Subaru with 600 hp, Sierra with a v12 BMW engine, lots of Lamborghinis and ferraris, more that you could ever imagine, Romania has changed. Maybe you should come back. :idea:
