I am planning on changing my egr tomarow and i was wondering if there was any easy way of doing it. It looks like something that will take a while to do. It needs to be done because I am getting horrible fuel milage ( around 10 miles to the gallon ) and it is bogging real bad. I am also going to change my fuel filter I think.

EFI or carb?
EGR usually does have much to do with gas mileage. You can do a quick test by pulling up on the diaphram with your fingers if it moves your prolly OK.
Sounds to me like its running too rich or you got a gas leak some
