I just purchased a 87 Accord LXi Hatch for my younger brother that just turned sixteen, The car has about 60k on her and is extremly clean inside and out... I purchased it from a buddy for $500.00 and plan to upgrade the wheels and such after winter(those 13's got to go) I think this will be a decent first car that he can mod with his own money later on.. I did some searches without alot of luck and just thought I would ask here....What brand of sparkplug does Honda recommend? and what do most of you guys use? whats the stock plug gap? also what weight and type of oil do most of you guys use? does this car really care about that? My Twin Turbo VR-4 Dodge Stealth will tick and get pissed unles I use Mobil 1 0w-40 European Blend.. I figure this car is alittle easier to please.. I have always like Honda's and think this will be a fun car to mod and change. Thank you for any info.
