Brake Pads

Hey fellas!!! I just took off my brake pads cuz they needed to be changed...went and got the new ones but the problem is I can't remember which one goes on the inside and which goes on the outside. I got an 88 Accord, got the pads from Murrray's-Friction Grip Plus...just some cheap ones to get me through...any suggestions? One of the pads is just flat the other has a clip on it? Does the clip go on the inside or outside? Any help would be great...thanks!!!

i know its an 88 but is it an DX or LX or LXi?

and are the pads two different sizes or no? (sorry, been awhile since i messed with the brakes)

The wear indicator goes on the inner pad.

it's an lxi, both pads are the same size but one has a clip to keep it in place. The one with the clip has a little nipple on the other end of it...and what is a wear indicator?

it's when the brake pad gets low then it'll make this annoying squel...
so the one with that peice of metal sticking out should go on the inside...
