where are the filters???

hey guys... where are the tranny and fuel filters in an 88LX? i have this problem where when my fuel gauge says i ahve about a quarter of a tank it'll start hesitating when going up hill.... really bad.... to the point of crapping out
what should i do? ..... and where are the filters? thanks! (it's an auto)

Fuel filter-primary is by the gas tank on the driver's side behind the rear wheel) while the secondary is connected to two red braided hoses near the fire wall on the driver's side engine compartment.
Tranny filter- our cars don't used filters. Just flush and fill.
