Wow that engine bay is in pretty sad shape...

Mine was showroom clean when I had my 3g... engine degreaser at the car wash place works wonders as well as other product for the engine bay that clean and shine etc.

Oh I forgot it's not an a20A anymore... oh well.

My valve cover has become more yellowish over time... I think the clear I used was just pure crap... I'll have to redo the valvecover again :(

I couldn't resist posting a picture of my enginebay. It's been a while since I even saw the car (mid november). :lol:

I guess I'll have to find a picture of the old A20A1 that was once in there (with the rusty carb)

why a carb? u can still post the efi one. like this one?

Hehe cool| I don't even need to dig up the pictures. :D Tha engine was clean on the top but the cast iron block was rusty (can varely be seen with the engine inside the car).

However, this is an A20A1 :D

Smufguy, about the underhood insulator, a lot of FI 3g's in Europe have these. I'm not sure if all FI 3g's had it from the beginning actually, but not all the FI 3g's I've seen myself have this anyway. Might just have been removed in time.
None of the US 3g's have these?

Well, they're not the easiest to ship I would think since I dont think they would look good afterwards if you had them folded. The outer layer of them is kind of stiff and would probably not like to be folded together. I dont know though. I'm soon about to swap one from one hood to another, so I'll find out how bendable they are.

they are some kinda funky fiber, (Not sure if its fiber glass) last time i tried to fold one (infinity insulator) it just came apart in my hand, so no, cant ship that bitch. LOL.

hey that's nice, keep us updated. If it's not foldable, I guess that many people would want them... so shipping a bunch of them would save on shipping costs.

The Hood insulator really adds a touch of luxury to the car.

hell yea..everytime it rains, or snow and the engine is warm.
my car smokes compared to my moms sable..due to that isulator......
hey can't we just make it ourselves??
