Yea that should be a good buy, never tried out the dual spring rate, but it be worth a try esp for the price.

Yes indeed they'll drop your car.. And you'll be able to control how low you want to go.. they're adjustable.
You can be just sporty dropped, or scraping the gravel if you want.

and I would need to run them with my stock struts also, correct? I'm thinking I might buy some for my car friday, but I'm not sure. I don't want to have that "shift bounce" alot of cars around here have.

Any coilover is likely to produce a bouncy ride without a stronger damper (shock) to control the stiffer spring.

That link didn't work for me, but I'm sure it was the FAQ thing, which I read a little bit ago. Guess I'm leaving her stock. Ain't got the Dinero for a good strut/spring combo right now

isnt the stock suspension pretty good quality too? i thought our cars had like a one of a kind suspension that was one of the best of its time... ive always loved how my 3gee drove, nice and smooth yet corners like glue.

The stock suspension is an excellent design. Honda spent budgeted to use upper and lower control arms instead of the cheaper lower control arm and strut setup that most other smaller cars use (which typically do not work as well). However, Honda had to take ride comfort into account when setting spring and damper characteristics. Those of us that are willing to tolerate a harsher ride also get better performance with different, correctly matched parts.

i was looking around and found Dropzone brand coilovers. this guy i met has some Dropzone lowering springs on his jetta and said they worked very well. dont know if dropzone is good or not but they came with a warrenty i think. what about the koni shock set of 4 for the 3gee on ebay? those look decent.

well hopefully here soon I can come up with some better stuff for us. Right now the best thing is revalved blistens and ground controls. I was able to get Konis, but I got the DZ adjustable coils which are pretty stiff for daily driving and bought some Eibach coils to make the ride a little better and make the car more neutral. If you go to the ground control site they have a lot of custom coil sizes you can pick and they go for $60 a peice. But I'm going to be working on adapting civic springs/shocks to work, and look into 4/5G accord parts also.
